Friday happies :-)

Lets forget how long it has been since I posted and see if I can just slide in like it was yesterday.  Does that sound okay??

Ok. So, the lovely lovely Tiffany over at Elastamom's excerpts posts a fabulously happy post every Friday. Celebrating the little things that happen over the course of the week that makes us Mum's happy. A chance to focus on the positive notes of each week :-)

This week has been a wee liquoris allsorts of a week for me. A bit of everything, high highs and low lows.

What has made me happy this week

• Celebrating the diamond Jubilee with our family. It was just wonderful :-) more pics to come, but here are a few

• Monday marked our 7 year anniversery. We have the same anniversery as Murray's parents! So at the Jubilee party on Sunday - we also toasted our respective marital bliss :-)

To Mr and Mrs Peat snr and Mr and Mrs Peat jnr, may we all have many many more happy years :-)

• Work has been so crazy hectic lately. I feel like the kids are all getting less than they deserve. But sometimes we manage to carve some magic in to the chaos.

Like button sorting - best activity hands down :-)

 

And then a scavenger hunt with a tiny baby strapped to my chest.

It was just perfect.

• Our girl is 6 now and moments like this have been few and far between. Our girl needs pitch black and white noise to sleep. So to see her just crash out, on her mamas knee, after our Jubilee celebrations?

It is just like poetry to this mama's heart.

And she was wrapped in a mama made quilt.

• Even though we are miles apart - thanks to wonders of the iPhone, I got to see pics of my beautiful Joe boy getting his first hair cut

My he is so grown up!

• And the icing on the cake came home with my gorgeous big boy. Fraser is going to receive an award at school from the Math department. I could not be more proud of my brand new 3rd year! Well done Fraser, we love you xxx
