A weekend of two halves.

When I look back at the beginning of 2012 I shall remember it as the time when I literally did not have enough hours in the day.

Momentum is gathering in my little polkadot world  and it is taking up more and more of my time. I am thoroughly enjoying it all and I love having so many orders to fulfill but I wouldn't be me if I didn't have a little guilt tucked in.
It is starting to eat into our family time a little. This is a difficult concept for me to accept as my family is and always will be my first priority. Every choice I make is based around our home and family life. But craft fairs are run on weekends (of course!) and evenings are the only time I get to sew and craft.
No one seems bothered (except me) and we still have lots of time together.

This past weekend was crammed full of both. Time apart and some amazing famnily times together. Fraser spent the weekend away with his youth group at Teen Ranch. Riding horses, learning archery and making lots of new friends.
K decided to sleep over with Gc and Beebs (and Grandad of course) on Friday noght and I had a craft fair to attend on Saturday.

Here is a collage of pics of my stall. It was so very different to everything else that was there, which was seriously daunting to me when I walked in! I have to admit that I almost walked straight back out as I felt like such a fish out of water. But I took a deep breath, unpacked my wares and smiled! My table was certainly different from the others, but it certainly stood out! It wasn't my best fair for sales, although I did sell enough to cover my table and a little extra . I also  met some lovely people and got some great feedback.

After K had such a successful sleepover on Friday night, she was anxious to stay again last night. Murray and I were invited by the guys to stay over so we could all spend some time together and K still got to stay.
It was such good fun. We really feel like we have been a wee holiday.

Today was like summer. Really warm and clear. So we headed out for a lovely Sunday stroll.

One of our favourite walks takes us along by the rugged East Neuk coastline.

Right by the beach is a huge field where a farmer keeps pigs , or Grumpheys as they are commonly called here.
As it is Spring, we were treated to the sight of some darling little piglets!
They were hilarious!

Tonight we are all back home and back together. Everyone tired, happy and snuggled in to our own beds.

What a wonderful weekend x
