Our holidays didn't quite get off to the start that we expected them too. Our poor girly had a bit of a tumble and we think she broke her toe.
She was off her feet for days and even still, 2 weeks later, we catch her hobbling now and again.
She is, for the most part, back to full speed though.
Miss K also lost tooth number 2!! I still can't believe that my girl wil soon have "big" teeth!
This Mama is just not ready.
Sound familiar?
a couple of years ago, Sarah and I attended a wedding in the south of England, as we were shopping in one of the gorgeous wee shops I came across this pillow.
I knew that "one day" my baby would begin losing her little pearly whites. And even though that day seemed in the distant future, I bought the little pillow and hid it in my sock drawer :-).
Tooth number one was lost in viva Espana, so the tooth pillow remained in my drawer just waiting for pearl number two to drop. I sat K on my knee and told her the whole story :-) The ttoth fairy also seemed to approve as their was a lovely shiny coin in there the next morning.

At this point I feel like I need to bust out the temperature photo again
Yep, it is not warm. The glory of a scottish summer!
So we have done some of our favourite things, built tents, walked in the rain and played lots and lots of Super mario Brother's and Mario kart. K got rea,ly good after being couch bound!
I promise I wont take awful self portraits every day, but I here I am all dressed up and ready to leave for my first day of my new job.
I survived and even enjoyed it! Roll on August when I can start my new life for reals :-)
I came home to my gorgeous family who had worked together to cook a yummy meak and set a very pretty table.
K even made soup from scratch , using her very own recipe!
It was a pleasure to come home , it always is xx

yikes! I am so glad that K's toe is on the mend. Super mario is a great thing to do on cold rainy days. : ) actually.. on any day!
You looked adorable for your first day of work. It was so sweet of the kids to make you supper.
Have a great new week. Good luck with the job.
