so far so good

Well, the dreaded last day came. I cried. A lot.

Here is my boy, walking from his school, for the last time.

So now with the sadness behind me, we can move on to our summer of fun.

Starting with a night away for Mummy and Daddy (yay!) and a sleepover at Granny Mary and Grandad Jimmy's (aka Jimbo) house, for the kids.

We had us some summer fun!

Music

Outdoor table tennis and the green string you can see is the "badminton net" that Jimbo set up for Fraser and I.

My Dad has also made a golf hole in the middle of his grass , so they can play putting

A hole in one for Jimbo!!

All the while being serenaded by our wee star

And even in the summer , at Granny Mary's house, a cup of tea is never far away

Sunshine and family time

How fun to have live music to entertain you during your outdoor activities.

What a great way to spend the summer..there is something seriously magical about summer vacations. I can remember as a kid growing up that the summers seemed to last forever...I need to bring back some of that joy I had.

Give back my summer weather! So that's where it's been! I'm usually sweltering this time of year and instead, I've wore pants and a hoodie the past two days!

Well, enjoy the sun while you have it. I'm stealing it back on Tuesday for Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Love it! Looks like good times all around.

I'm sorry the code for my button wasn't working. Next time grab it from my sidebar. It doesn't seem to work if I put it in my post.
