I have to go shopping now ............

Yesterday my Mum and I took the cherubs shopping for some new summer clothes. They were in need of a few bits and bobs for our holidays. The difference between the shopping styles of a boy and a girl are unbeleivable! I can see the future man and woman already!

Has to be dragged kicking and screaming into anything that closely resembles a clothes shop.
Dislikes anything you show to him , unless it has Doctor Who characters emblazoned over the front.
Refuses to try anything on.
Makes a beeline for anything expensive and or remotely gadget like. Ignored us when we were pulling out lovely T shirts and shorts and instead was drooling over a "man bag" with lots of little pockets for all of his "stuff" (which he got may I add! Granny Mary is a soft touch) Oh Mum look at this it is ONLY £90 what a bargain! Look at these cool doctor who socks! They are only £7! (me) are they silk sweetie? I would like at least 10 pairs for £7!
Once we get home he jumps out of the car with whatever new toy/gadget he has conned out of one of us. Leaving all of the bags and the new clothes, that we actually went to buy still in the boot, doesnt look for it again until he needs it to be fully washed ironed and folded in his drawer ready to put on at the exact moment he needs it.

Is the first one racing into clothes shops , all you can hear is cooing and calls of "oooh this luuly (lovely), me like, me buy" "Oh me fancy"
Loves everything you pick out! The enthusiasm pours out of her, wants to buy everything!
Is already half stripped by the time you reach the childrens section. She knows what is coming! No room for embaressment about being half naked in a shop full of strangers! Going to a changing room uses up so much more shopping time, didn't you know!
Makes a beeline for anything pink and girly, twirly skirts, broderie anglaise. This girl knows what flatters her and sticks with it! And luckily she has an eye for a bargain! Although this doesn't impare on her impeccable taste!
Once we get home she steps out of the car in the new jacket that we bought for her, as she just couldnt wait to use it. As she struggles in carrying the bag twice the size of herself , stuffed full with all of the goodies, she is already starting to strip off. A girl must put on a fashion show of all the new treats she has been given. She struts and twirls just like any mini supermodel should.

LOL Sound familiar?? I am sure this is a similar scenario that goes on worldwide within marriages everywhere.

Stereotypical?? much??
