Photo bombing of our bucket and spade list

For the past 3 years we have written a "bucket and spade list " for our summer. Things we want to check off, activities we would like to enjoy.
Memories we want to make.

One of our list items , this year, was to enjoy some delicious fish and chips by the sea.

And oh they were delicious!!

Unfortunately we were set upon by thousands of angry and starving birds! Who ran us out of town and back to the safety of our car!
(Okay, so there were at least a dozen and they were definitely trying to intimidate us!!)

After our relaxed meal was cut short, we meandered back to our holiday house, driving by the stunning Bamburgh castle.

It was a beautiful warm evening so we set off for a stroll along our favourite pier.

Shoutout to Miss K who has always been too afraid to walk along the pier, until now.

Shoutout to our handsome teenager for continuing to indulge his boring old parents and their family antics.

Every time I sit down to blog now, I think
"There are too many photos to choose from. I can't possibly put them on here , no one wants to see this many photos of our family."
I close the page and walk away, unable to choose between my memories.

Today I remembered that there are no "readers" on my blog!!
It's just us! It is 100% a space for our memories and  I can post 2000 pics every single time I post, if I want to!! I can!
Freedom.

My whole heart, right here.

I love this photo, me and my babies

"Photo bomb!!"

Seconds, days, weeks and moments

Time is a funny thing.
Sometimes days feel like weeks. Like when we are away from home, together and having fun. These 3 days felt like at least a week of fun. We crammed a lot in and loved and laughed even more.

Chain bridge, one side is England and across the other side is Scotland.

England ......

England .....

Scotland!!

SCOTLAND !!!!!

Those 3 days days were long and fun.
But time is a funny thing. Now weeks have passed in the blink of an eye.
Mere moments have trickled together and we are at the end of our summer and weeks away from our long summer days already.
