A Ballerina is born.

I may have mentioned ,once or twice ;-) , that in the summer our girl joined a ballet class.
Every week I listen at the door, wishing I could see through to the magic side..

Finally on the Friday evening, before Christmas, the little ballerinas took to the stage to show us what they hd been practising behind that door.

I had a little tear helping my very own ballerina into her special tutu for the show.

And seeing her on the stage?

Magical.

I beamed and held my breath throughout the entire song.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Well done to our precious ballerina.
Sometimes I wonder how I could have a daughter who is so poised, beautiful and graceful xx

Christmas.

If there is one thing that just screams Christmas it would be the school nativity.

In our school each class performs a song in the festive concert but only one primary gets to perfomr the nativity. This year it was primary two and Miss K was an angel and Narrator.

I was very proud and shed many tears.
Our angel :-)

Party Princess

On the day of Miss K's Christmas party Aunt Sarah came to curl her beautiful golden Princess locks.

Her dress was so sparkly and beautiful, big thanks go to Lor Lor for helping us to get it.

K helping Joe Boy
(She is such a sweet big cousin)

And every party Princess needs sparkly Princess shoes.
And K was delighted that they even had heels!

Happy 14th Birthday Fraser

Our boy is now officially 14.
A boy?
A man child ?
A young adult.

I can't believe how fast it's going!

This year Fraser got a contract phone for his big gift!

And this year Miss K was able to paint the banner and write the words.
All I painted was Birthday.

Our kids are awesome.

K made Fraser a robot for his Birthday, she worked on it for weeks.
I must catch a pic of it....

He even gave her a cuddle! So he must have loved it ;-)

Oh and a small FYI - most of our pics this year are blurry.
It is what it is. The days moved fast!

Birthday pancakes.......

with bacon and syrup. mmmmm.

Another amazing cake by Lor Lor.

Jimbo was happy to be celebrating :-)

I just LOVE cousins round a cake :-)

Happy Birthday my Darling boy. I hope your fourteenth year is a happy one for you xxxxx
