Family.

Is this not the cutest pooch around??

Weekends mean one thing for me, family.

This weekend we enjoyed a family BBQ with my in laws and my parents.

Not sure if you remember our own recent BBQ . Well, it happened again.

Pitter patter raindrops.
LOL.

So I took Christine a little sunshine in a vase.

And she provided (with other things) the world's BEST apple crumble.

Although we only live around 5 mins walking distance away, we packed our jammies and snuggled in for a sleepover. Because thats how we roll.

We stuffed ourselves with homemade burgers , strawberries, ice cream and a mountain of apple crumble.

We played board games

and Fraser played cards with his Granny.

It was great.

And what do you know, Sunday morning, the sun came out.

And Fraser stayed in bed! LOL
We brunched in the garden and posed for cheesy pics.

and some super sweet pics too.

We rounded our day off with Grandad Jimbo, to celebrate his Birthday.

and a good old smooch of my favourite Nephews scrummy cheeks.

Now that, was a weekend.

11 Randoms on the 11th.

1 - I slept until almost 11am this morning. I so needed it! It's been a while since I slept so soundly and I really needed to catch up.

2 - It is pouring rain here today and we have a BBQ to attend , and a sleepover! How fun.

3 - I am more excited about choosing my PJs for the BBQ sleepover than I am about choosing my clothes. This probably says as much about my personality as anything else I write on here.

4 - It sucks to remember you are not wearing a bra AFTER you have run up the stairs.

5 - I sold our kitchen table and chairs this week. I am LOVING the space it has given us and the kids have already used the breakfast bar area more in 4 days than they used the table and chairs in 2 years!

6 - In our house a plaster makes everything better.

7 - No one ever smiles for photos in our house anymore. They all have way to much personality to pose!

Kissy faces for Lor Lor

Daddy being the funny guy...

8 - I never know what is going to come round the corner at me! I spend a good portion of my life screaming in fright.

9 - I love this hairy beast more than anyone should love a hairy beast. Look at her little face!

10 - if you husband chases you around the house with something gross and stinky , someone is always going to get hurt......

11 - There is a small chance that red may be taking over my house.

It's not a bad thing , just an observation.

Ps - does this go?? I'm doing a bedroom makeover and I'm doubting my choice a little - honest opinions please

04/06/05

Six years ago I married my best friend.

A car broke down and we were held up by over half and hour. We did not leave the house until the exact time we were supposed to be at the church!
As we drove away the sunshine disappeared and the heavens opened! I had never seen rain like it.
Inside the church was dark and a magical feeling just surrounded us.
Love enveloped us.

Aww our tiny Frase enjoying "the scramble" is this a scottish thing?

I love this photo, I didn't even know my sister was there, fixing me for our photos.
I only had eyes for my brand new husband and our friend snapped a very special moment.

And another.
Me and my boy.

We partied on into the night, with our friends playing as our band and surrounded by everyone that we hold dear.

We jetted off on a dream honeymoon to the Dominican Republic.
And brought home our very special honeymoon baby.

Happy Anniversery Murray.
I am so happy I get to grow old with you.

Today I marry my friend,
the one I laugh with,
 live for,
dream with,
 love.
