Proud moment!

I am so pleased for Fraser!! I am so proud that he has been made a prefect!

It is lovely to see the teachers and his peers appreciating his maturity and responsible nature.

(Hope he brings it home with him!! KIDDING Fraser!)

Hand stitching the braid on was such a pleasure :-)

We love you and are so proud of you! Enjoy every moment of your final year xx

Three firsts and a last. Also known as - where did my babies go??

The first day back at school has come around again. The summer holidays have been and gone (sob!!) Bags are packed and everyone looks spiffy! All ready for a fresh start.
This year it was also a last first day for someone.

Primary five for this little beauty too!

12 years of schooling under his belt and only one to go!
I actually can't believe it.

He just loved a little bit of lovin' before he left....

And as if that wasn't bad enough.....

Joe boy started school this year too!!!

Thank goodness for this little chunk of love!!
He can soothe my heart and fill my arms while they are all off getting smarter.

Cousins.
**sigh**

(I love these two, they have such a sweet relationship)

All set ...

And ready for the off!

Have an amazing year you guys! Work hard, make friends, be kind, listen , learn and have fun!

And then come home and tell me all about it x

A little introduction

On 15th of June at 13.44 we welcomed the delicious Jackson Murray Peter in to our family.
He weighed 8lbs and 1oz and we love him so.

I was as close as I could get when he was born and I loved every single second of that day!
(Ok there was a good 15 mins or so where I was near hysterical....but all turned out well...)

And then we loved him and loved him

And he grew and grew

And then we loved him some more.

He is just simply scrumptious.

Welcome to the crazy that we call family!
I hope you enjoy your Tuesdays with Adie and I can't wait to make you toasties and give you smoochies for ever more, even when you are over 6 feet tall. You and your amazing big brother will always have a home and a hug at my house xxx

Right where we are.

This morning I was chatting to my sister about blogging and I miss this little space so much. I have been trying to work out what it is that is stopping me from updating more often and it is because our laptop is old and so slow it is painful, which makes it so difficult (and time consuming) to upload photos, the text is ok as I can do that on the iPad but pics are more difficult. However, when I started this blog there were no pictures for months and I still loved it so maybe I just need to get back to writing more. I miss it so. This blog has been our memory keeper for such a long time, what Christmas was it that I got that amazing gift?....... Let's check the blog! What year was it that we did x,y or z? I'm sure that's on the blog! Let's go look! One of KP's favourite things to do is look back through old posts and parties. The past two years on the blog are just sad and neglected! I must do better.

So, where are we?
We are the same, we are happy, we are tired, we are lazy and messy and organised , we are working and together and all the things in between. We are just us, still turning that wheel.
This summer the weather has been awful!! We have had a few dry days sprinkled through but for the most part it has rained and been pretty cold.
We have made the most of every hour of sunshine though.

We holidayed in our happy place again, definitely lots more pics of that to come, it was fun and sunny and rainy and cold and ......are you seeing a theme here? It's all a bit of a mixed bag , smiles and hormones flying around in equal measures but oh that view. All worth it.

I love that Fraser still likes to come on family holidays, my wee family is my everything so I am grateful to him for hanging around.

Ever so proud of this guy! He stormed it with amazing exam results this year! This pic was taken on a wee family meal out to celebrate. Love them.

This whole summer has zoomed by in a blur, in one week they go back to school and I can feel "the big sad"  is starting to creep in around the edges. 6th year and primary 5!!! Where is all this time going??

2015 is more than half way over already. I wonder if I will be able to steal a few more minutes on the iPad again soon? Someone in this house is very attached to it... I guess once school starts it will be all mine again.....sob!!
